The materials for digital doorphone and video door entry systems with GB2 technology use 2 wires without polarity.

Necessary materials for a system with these characteristics are:

For an entry panel with call buttons

• It accepts up to 128 calls.

• In a single-building system, the maximum number of inputs is 4 and in this case the DP-GB2/A multi-input splitter will be needed.

• We use an EL642/GB2A mechanism (for a doorphone system) or an EL632/GB2B (for a video door entry system) on each entry panel. In systems with more than 2 buttons we use as many EL610D 10-button mechanisms as we need to call all the apartments. In entry panels with more than one column of mechanisms we use the RAP-610D cable to connect the columns together.

For coded panel

• It accepts up to 256 calls (128 in a doorphone system).

• In a single-building system, the maximum number of inputs is 4 and in this case the DP-GB2/A multi-input splitter will be required.

• We use an EL642/GB2A mechanism (for a doorphone system) or an EL632/GB2B (for a video doorphone system) on each doorphone.

• We use the N3301/AL or NX3301/AL keyboard, while the TFT screen mechanism, EL3422 is optional.

• We use the N3401/GB2 or NX3401/GB2 browsing mechanism to select the apartment to call, on the EL3422/GB2 screen.

• Combination of the above operating methods.

• For internal devices, follow the instructions below:

• In doorphone systems with NHEA/GB2 doorphones without a handset or T-562/GB2 with a handset, we use 1 FA-GB2 power supply for 128 calls. Each apartment must have only one device.

• In video doorphone systems with VESTA 2/GB2 screens, we use 1 FA-GB2 power supply for up to 23 screens. In case we have more screens, we use 1 FA-GB2 power supply and one RD-GB2 column extension per 23 screens. The maximum number of devices per apartment is 4.

• In video doorphone systems with VESTA 7/GB2 screens, we use 1 FA-GB2 power supply for up to 18 screens. In case we have more screens, we use 1 FA-GB2 power supply and one RD-GB2 column extension per 18 screens. The maximum number of devices per apartment is 4.

• We use 12V d.c. power supply. We can connect a.c. power supply if we use the TF-104 transformer.
